Not finished yet, but I thought I'd post it now. I'll Add in a background later. Hopefully I can pull it off but I wasn't ever really good with them. But, with Practice comes results, right ^^;
Anyway, If you haven't figured out,
I made a line art of a photograph and colored it in. I like how it's going so far.

Be sure to erase the stray marks and control bit of the color on the wings. It's flat and lacks detail. The forearm is a bit off and the hair looks okay, you could make it better by not graduating it and add highlights after placing the color. Know you still need to work on it but giving some advice. I like how she's gone. Looks more realistic than your earlier stuff.

And yeah, lately I've been taking photos and making line arts of them then just coloring them in. It seems a bit easier than free hand, though I haven't given up on it. Just taking a break.

What I do it helps in your freehand by increasing your memory of more different types of models. Good to see that you're doing this. So, are you going this instinctively or from instruction?

well I started on my own impulse, and I didn't really get influenced by another source, so I guess instinctively.
